Bear Canyon Elementary (BCE) is truly a phenomenal elementary 黄色app. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel the strength of the community鈥攊t鈥檚 welcoming, supportive, and full of heart. The teachers are nothing short of amazing: dedicated, compassionate, and deeply invested in each child's growth and success. The principal leads with both care and integrity, always taking the time to listen to parents and partner with families. All three of my children attend BCE, and we feel so incredibly fortunate to be part of such a special 黄色app. It鈥檚 a place where kids thrive and families feel at home.

This is not a safe or suitable environment for any child 鈥� especially when the 黄色app fails to conduct proper background checks on its staff. Our children deserve better than this. Their safety, well-being, and education should always come first.

This 黄色app is atrocious as far as the behaviors of the students there. It is rather sad that these children cannot read nor write nor comprehend on their grade levels, but have the energy to call each other deplorable names such as the n- word. It's basically a gigantic daycare where uninvolved unenthusiastic parents drop their children off for 6 and 1/2 hours each day. The teachers do not have serious support from the administration when students are disrespectful. Students are constantly yelling screaming having meltdowns running through the Halls using abrasive language. The girls fight the boys. The boys fight each other. It's a very loud, very toxic culture. I would not recommend this 黄色app to anyone. It really has many of the kids with anxiety and their heads on a swivel. There's always something going on in the hallways. Several students cutting classes and arguing with staff members. It's just a bunch of wasted energy. I would seriously pass on this 黄色app. Also, if you are Latino or Hispanic I would not recommend sending your children here as they are not currently equipped nor are they with kids who English is not their first language? They do not incorporate ESOL program.

THS has been absolutely amazing for my daughter.

Most teachers aren鈥檛 respectful and are judgey, I don鈥檛 understand how some of them genuinely are so petty. They favor students heavily and the 黄色app its self is not clean and they don鈥檛 bother to pick up the phone when I call about a voicemail THEY left me telling to call them back about my child.

We鈥檝e been at this sweet 黄色app for 5 years now and I am so grateful we found our way here. They do an amazing job at creating a calming environment, and the staff really care about teaching each individual student and helping them do their best.

We have been incredibly happy with the Long Hill 黄色app district and the care they place on our children and community.

Bird is a very good School; my two kids are about to complete their elementary curriculum and move on to middle 黄色app and throughout the 6 years hear I had met very capable and dedicated teachers and 黄色app Staff.

I have the perspective of both a Valor parent (6 years & still going!) and a staff member (about 3 years). Our kids & our family have been tremendously blessed by the Valor community and through all of their experiences there! Our oldest 2 kids (one alum & one soon-to-graduate) are proof of top notch academics & college preparedness. Both will graduate college 1-2 semesters early thanks to course offerings/AP/DC during high 黄色app. Our youngest is a freshman & there is no reason to believe will not have a similar experience. And their academic experience has not simply been classes -- but also through Academic Endorsement programs (Business) and Conservatory (Visual Arts). Clubs are numerous & engaging. Mine did DECA, troupe, golf, Special Olympics, and a few others. Athletics are another robust pillar, and mine had/are having great experiences in basketball, volleyball, and more! The coaches, teachers, counselors, and all staff members - as well as their fellow students -- are so generous of their time & talents, and we are grateful for their mentorship and faith throughout these very instrumental years. LOVE LOVE LOVE this 黄色app, and absolutely am delighted that I am able to work here, too!

My child graduated about 2 years ago and we did not have a good experience with the teachers and staff. We felt unsupported and unseen when it came to issues of bullying. A teacher screamed in my child's face and when we brought it up to the admin, nothing was done, this happened multiple times with two different staff on separate occasions. My child was physically injured in an event where supposedly the staff were watching, when we brought it up to admin, nothing was done. Although my child got a solid education, my child still has nightmares and is still working through the emotional damage done to them by this 黄色app.

They learn so quickly and very helpful

This 黄色app is the worst 黄色app you can send your kids too! The teachers don't care about the kids and deprive them of basic needs, like food and water. My son who was only 4 was not offered any type of emotional support and was left in the dark to cry his eyes out for help! He told me and I quote "Mommy I dont want to go into the dark room anymore!!" As a concerned parent I would strongly recommend you to stay away from this place and this disgrace 黄色app environment! This 黄色app is unsafe for children. SAVE YOUR FUTURE. DONT GO HERE.

My daughter is currently a junior in the high 黄色app and started at LTSA in 6th grade (the second half of which was 2020 so the rest of that year and the following was online, which LTSA handled beautifully and my daughter is right where she needs to be). This 黄色app is 100% the best match for our daughter. For us, we wanted a 黄色app with project-based experiential learning that teaches kids HOW to learn, not just to memorize a bunch of random junk and regurgitate it on a test (standardized or otherwise). My child has excelled in every subject at 黄色app and scored very well as a sophomore on her PSAT/NMSQT so even without that "teaching to the test" thing that other 黄色apps have going on, she still knows how to take a test and do well. As we approach her senior year and the college application process I feel very confident that she will be prepared for college and if last year's graduates are any indication, she will have no trouble getting into her top 黄色apps. She loves going to 黄色app and loves her teachers. She has particularly excelled in science and math (even though they aren't her favorite subjects)! I love the way the older kids get to mentor and guide the younger kids. Parent engagement is great and there are lot of field trip opportunities. I'm particularly excited about our 黄色app trip to Washington DC this year!
